Days 344-350

 Day 344
A walk down the lane led to the discovery of these winter beauties.

Day 345
Chicken and roasted veggies . . . sweet potato, onion, garlic, green pepper, tomato and some pineapple for good measure.  Very delicious!

Day 346

Red berries on a foggy Sunday after church.

Day 347
Striking cloud formations this day . . . the heavens declaring the glory of God.

Day 348
I found this leaf on the ground and was struck by it's beauty.  It is over 9 inches long from tip to stem and almost totally transparent.

Day 349
So thankful for green houseplants during the gray days of winter.  This started out as a wee cutting from a friend a few short years ago and produces gorgeous blooms.

Day 350
Waiting patiently for warmer days to display baskets of abundant beauty. Not hard to tell I am longing for spring and the changing of this cold and difficult season I am in.

Days 337-343

Day 337
Lots of snow on the surrounding mountains right now and a clear day lets me see just how much.

Day 338
This little guy was enjoying some daddy time at the park.

Day 339
Treasured photos on the wall . . . on the left is a picture of my great-grandparents Wyatt and Laura McGhee.

 Day 340

Another light dusting on the white stuff today.

Day 341
What's on top of your refrigerator?

Day 342
I would so love to capture a shot of one of these beauties in real life.

Day 343
The sun going down on my last day of work at Pistol & Burnes Coffee Roasters.

Days 330-336

Day 330
Night lights in the rain on a Friday after work.

Day 331
After putting all the Christmas stuff away I found this snow-fella perched on the ledge atop the stove.  He gets to stay a while longer.

Day 332
Missing the real thing, but these metal art sunflowers still bring a smile.

 Day 333
Today was one of the hardest days I have had in a long while . . . a full blown panic attack at work that sent me home early and left me exhausted.  I never took a photo this day so chose one from my New Year's Day visit to the park and played a bit with editing.

Day 334
Time for a change.  This week I posted the following quote to my FB status . . . "Life does not get better by chance.  It gets better by change."  (Jim Rohn)

Day 335
My poor little gerbera daisy plant is not flourishing in my office at work.  I have brought it back home and it's happier already.

Day 336
Grinding the last of the Christmas blend beans . . . the last of the 1st bag.
I still have another.  Woohoo!

January 4, 2013

Days 323-329

Day 323
I broke my old favourite mug and found this to replace it.

Day 324
The littlest grandgirlie has a birthday next week.
A special request was put in for a new hat.

Day 325
A wee bit of my pretty pitchers collection.

Day 326
The sun setting on the last day of 2012.

Day 327
From my foggy day photo shoot . . . Happy New Year.

 Day 328
The much anticipated package from Ontario . . . such a lovely angel stamp and delightful treasures inside the envelope.

Day 329
Got out of work a little early, before the sun went down.  Blue sky and sunshine allowed for a gorgeous view of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
