Days 309-315

Day 309
Friday afternoon commute . . . enjoying the lights along the river as I head for home and happy for the weekend.

Day 313
I am so delighted with the way my wreath turned out . . . it was definitely needing an overhaul.

Day 314
It was a cold and blustery, snow a-blowin', stay home from work day.  I didn't mind so very much . . . the staying home part.

Day 303
Sliders at the Cactus Club with my little sis, Martha.
Yay for sister dates.

Day 304
This home in our neighbourhood is always listed in the paper as a must-see for Christmas lights.  The lights are synced with different songs and it is truly delightful.  There is a donation box and over the last 10 years or so viewers have raised over $50,000 for a local charity.

Day 305
"I take, O cross, thy shadow for my abiding place,
I ask no other sunshine than the sunshine of His face. . . ."
Snippets from an old hymn remembered from childhood.

Day 306
A sleepy kitten under the Christmas tree  . . . a little spot of light shining on his face.

Day 307
My girls have been baking up a storm . . . these are paleo gingerbread stars.
Very yummy, I might add.

Day 308
I love this Christmas card that came to the office at work.  I can just imagine my grandgirlies building such a fine specimen as this fellow.  I sure do miss them.
